The “Share a coke with” event hits the Philippines and many folks are still looking for their name. Finding your name in a bottle of coke is like a medal in other people that we interviewed.
Nueva Ecija, Philippines – A man from Nueva Ecija filed a request to change his name. The reason ? His name is not common and he can’t find his name in coke bottles.
His name is Agapito Mariano Clavio Jr, 21 years old and he wants to change his name to Mark Clavio. He already decided to change his name 5 years ago when his father commit a serious crime in their place. He still carrying the same name with his father that affects him, because his father’s name is very well known as a notorious criminal.
He is also an avid fan of Coca-Cola and collecting souvenirs from the product. He can’t find any name of him in the bottle of coke now and he envy others who already got their name. He decided to change his name as “Mark” because its a common name that can helps him to easily achieved a bottle of coke with that name. Maybe his obsession in Coke products is not normal, but his friends and relatives already accepted it so there’s no problem.
“I hope that my name can be change as soon as possible so i can now start the hunt for the bottle of coke that belongs to my new name” Agapito said to our source.
